By "make sure you have the NewgroundsAPI.as file in the same folder as your game or movie", what did you mean?
So, if I created my own folder specifically for my flash, and put all of the files in there, including the NewgroundsAIP.as, would would it work? I am alittle confused.
Like, I would just right-click on my desktop page, and select "NEW", then I would put my flash in there, and then the NewgroundsAPI.as?

Is there a way to submit for approval so that when my flash launches to the portal the ad is already there? And also... Am I suppose to redownload the api for my version of flash/actionscript to the folder that my flash is saved in every time or can I just copy paste the api folder into the same folder my flash is in? Because it gives me a random new number to enter into the actions when I go to it... know what I mean?

looks like a good faq, very helpful
but i have one problem... I Use Toon Boom!
ive been able to submit things only because toon boom can export in .swf
since i use toon boom and not flash does this mean i cant make money of my submissions??

I've downloaded the API, i've added it to my game but... when i test the movie, the Output window doesen't show:
"[NEWGROUNDSAPI] Connecting...."
But the ad works perfectly and i can see the advertissment.

Do i leave it like that and submit it or i do somethings

on my api page all my movies are gone, and when i try to ad them in again it says they are added already. Is this just a fluke?
